My Little Train Classics Toy Trains RecalledSmall parts have been coming loose from the trains, which may put children at risk for choking.
Recall Reason
According to the US Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), JA-RU Inc., of Jacksonville, Florida, is voluntarily recalling approximately 18,000 of its My Little Train Classics wooden toy trains. While no injuries or incidents have have been reported, if small pieces detach from the trains they can pose a choking hazard to children.

The recalled trains were sold under brand name "My Little Train, Train Classics." The wooden toy trains are available in two styles: One has a yellow cab, blue body, and six red wheels; the other has a blue cab, red boiler, wooden base, and four black wheels. The item #5293 is the same for both styles and is located in the lower left hand corner on the front of the package. The toy trains were sold at various wholesalers and retailers nationwide from March 2007 through October 2008 for about $2.

Recall ReasonAccording to the US Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), Cobra Electronics of Chicago, Illinois, is voluntarily recalling approximately 8,000 of its Cobra Children's Two-Way Radios. While no injuries or incidents have have been reported, the rechargeable batteries may leak, posing a burn hazard to children.

The recalled radios were sold under brand name "Cobra." The recall involves two-way radios with the 300 mah "CEL" batteries. These walkie talkie-style radios are made of pink plastic and come in purple packaging. The product number is located on the front of the package and on the label inside the battery compartment: PR191-2VP. The batteries are standard AAA nickel metal hydride battery cells with a black wrapper with the battery name 300 mah (CEL) with the date code (TF or RF) on the battery itself.
The radios were sold at Toys "R" Us Stores nationwide from August 2008 through September 2008 for about $30.
Whom to ContactConsumers should immediately stop using the two-way radios and contact the company for a free replacement and a 20 percent-off coupon for a future purchase at www.cobra.com. If batteries have leaked on to the radio, do not touch the liquid, and contact the company for a free replacement product.

The surface paint on the toy xylophone contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
Recall ReasonAccording to the US Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), King Import Warehouse of Dallas, Texas, has voluntarily recalled approximately 144 of its toy xylophones. Although no injuries have been reported, the surface coating of paint on the xylophone contains excessively high levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.

The recalled toy is sold under the brand name "Bands Musical Instruments." The toy xylophone measures about 12 inches long by 5 inches wide. It has a lavender frame, a lavender mallet, and four bars which are orange, yellow, green, and white. The item number, KW20119, can be found on the packaging.
The toys were sold at Dollar Zone "Giant", Sam 99 Cent Store, and 99 Cents Mart in Texas from December 2007 through February 2008 for about $1.
