Chances are they're probably fine, but please do your homework by observing a class before joining. When you visit a playgroup in session, does it feel comfortable? Talk to the other moms. Carefully look around the facility-is it cleam, bright and safe? CAUTION! If children are being dropped off this is NOT a parent-child class.
