November 20th is National Family Volunteer Day. This is a great time to teach children about charity and volunteering. You can volunteer for Meals on Wheels and bring the little ones along to help with the deliveries. Many shelters and food kitchens also need drivers to pick up donations at markets and restaurants, another excellent opportunity for children to be introduced to what it means to volunteer. Spend some time helping at a food kitchen and let children lend a helping hand fixing plates and clearing the tables. Whatever you choose to do, this activity introduces children to important values that will last a lifetime.

1.	Contact local Senior Center, or Homeless Shelter in your area.
