A fun way to to show your child the difference!
Description: Oh my it's dark now! It was sunny just a little while ago. Make a chart to turn day and night off and on. Click, click - just like that! Step by Step: 1. Cut out a circle of white paper for the moon. Glue it in a corner of black or dark blue construction paper. 2. Have your little one add stick-on stars. 3. Using her tiny finger, have her place a dab of glue on each star followed by sprinkling glitter on them. Twinkle, twinkle little star! Know the words? Have a sing-along. Here they are: Twinkle, twinkle little star How I wonder what you are Up above the world so high Like a diamond in the sky! 4. Now using a sheet of light blue construction paper, place a blop of yellow non-toxic paint. Using a clean finger draw out the rays of the sun from the paint. Glue a few puffs of clouds using absorbent cotton. 5. There you are almost done. After allowing both sheets to dry, just staple them together, back to back. Let the night and day demonstration follow! Materials: Black, light blue & white construction paper.
