| No Avatar | I have a 10 month old daughter. When ever she goes through a new stage, I start to find articles and study about that. But I realy like to educate myself upfront about every thing. Like her health, nutrition, training, psycology, do and don't....... I'm looking for good and relyable resource ( name of a book or website,.....)and I appriciate if you introduce me some! Others may find it helpfull as well. |

It is a great idea to prepare yourself in advance w/everything that`s to be expected w/raising our children. When I first got pregnant,I started `surfing`all these different web sites looking for info&advice, reading books, listening to others w/more experience...But,what I found was very helpful to me is www.babycenter.com. It`s free to join,I still get their newsletter every week in my inbox, which you can personalize(example,I now have a 2yo and recive all the info about toddlers that age). When I was pregnant,I recived newsletters about each stage in my pregnancy. As a first time Mom,I can honestly say that it kind of prepared me about what to expect.I deffinately found all the answers I was looking for.I found them very informative, very to the point. You can find anything from health issues,discipline,toy-stores,advice column, games to play w/kids,crafts,etc. Hope this helps.Good luck!

I also do lots of searches online and use babycenter.com. I have found some wonderful mommy boards and local play groups and I love getting other mom's advice. It means so much more to me from other parents instead of something written in a book. I talk to the dr. alot too and ask any questions that I jot down in b/t appts. I love going to great forums like these and finding a place that I click with members because other mom's advice is priceless to me. I have found a great group with modernmommas.com of great women with wonderful advice. Good luck with your little one:)

Extremely reliable and yes,I tried a lot of them.I mean, most of them come from doctor`s and pediatricians,so no worries. You can even double check w/your own doc. I never used any free offers, though. Good luck! |
