avatar Are you looking for a business or an hourly job?  I work with a great company if you are looking for a business opportunity that is so fun and has amazing support.  Or there are several companies out there that are a job at home...not as flexible and you still need to have silence so maybe daycare or nanny at the home but working at home nonetheless.   Be very careful of any data entry positions that require you paypal $$ to them first, or any thing like that.  There are companies you can work for that are call center/customer service oriented like: West Corporation, www.west.com or www.alpineaccess.com.

Hi kacallari

Thanks for the note , but I don't have any family in U.S. and all my friends are at the same situation that I am. I mean they are trying to get a job to improve theire financial situation. So It would be almost impossible for me to plan a party and think of getting money there!

Hi Luckymomy! Welcome!

I am in a company called Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing. It is an amazing opportunity and a great home-based business. It is a legit at home business. (NO SCAMS). It is on the BBB and has great comments about the company. We have been in the business for under a month and have made over $300 and still growing. If you would like more information please contact me at shandabrown32@yahoo.com. It is great to be at home with family and friends and still make an income on the side.

Since your family and friends aren't in the US, you can call them up and have them join your team and it will just keep on growing anywhere in the world. Just a note.

Virtual Assistants are becoming very popular in the small business world and provide a great opportunity to work at home.  Some agencies hire their staff directly, and others just provide a forum for employer and independent contractors to find each other.  You can work in a wide variety of areas, as you will mostly likely work on a specific per-job basis.  Common areas include general admin, bookkeeping, word processing, website maintenance, blog or newsletter writing, classified ad posting, marketing, and many more.

One company I know of that hires their own staff is cybertary.  I think they prefer if you live near one of their franchises.

You can do an online search for 'US based virtual assistants' to find websites that just act as fourms bringing you together with employers.  There are several specifically for VA's in India, but some employers feel more comfortable with someone in the US, or the job really requires a local cultural or language understanding... So there is still lots of opportunity for Americans to do this as well.

I think you may have to pay a small fee to post your resume or view help wanted ads on these sites.  I posted an ad to possible hire someone (I have my own online boutique), and, as an employer, I didn't have to pay anything.  If you go this route, you will be working as an independent contractor and should get up to speed on how to handle your taxes, etc.

If I had known about this when my kids were born and I hadn't started my own business, I definitely would have done it!  Now I am swamped both with my online boutique and my web marketing consulting business I'm just starting!
