Product: Earth Friendly Wooden Toys (Moee the car, Cubby the stackable bear, Bell rattle)
Date of Recall: 10/30/08
Stores Located: Toy specialty stores in Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington
Issue: Small parts can detach from the toy, posing a choking hazard. Also, the rattle handle size violates voluntary rattle standards.
Dates Released: April 2008 – September 2008
What You Can Do: Take away the recalled toys and contact Earth Friendly for an exchange or refund.

Product: Casper the Friendly Ghost Halloween Mini-Figurines
Date of Recall: 10/29/08
Stores Located: Gift, specialty, card and drug stores nationwide
Issue: The figurines contain excess levels of lead in paint

Issue: A circuit board defect can cause batteries to leak, posing a chemical burn hazard.

What You Can Do: Take away the guitar and return them to the place where purchased for a full refund.

Issue: The battery terminals can come into contact with each other, causing a possible burn hazard.

Product: Nerf N-Strike Recon Blasters

Issue: The blaster’s plunger can pull the user’s skin during firing, resulting in injury
Dates Released: November 2007 – August 2008
What You Can Do: Take away the blaster and contact Hasbro for a free cylindrical cover to prevent injury.
