Where Did it Go
Play a Beginner's Hide and Seek Game
Play a beginner's game of hide-and-seek. The simplest activities can be utterly fascinating to babies. Here's one that will help your little one learn to identify objects. It will also introduce the concept that even when you can't see something, it still exists. As your baby gets older, he or she will happily call out the name of the hidden object.

Step-by-Step:
  1. Place a few small toys in a box.
  2. Seat baby securely in his or her own special seat facing you.
  3. After taking one toy out of the box and covering it with a small towel say, "Where did (name of toy) go?"
  4. As you uncover it, happily exclaim, "Oh, my here is your (name of toy)!" or whatever you have decided to surprise baby with.
