Let soft stuffed animals and blankets offer bedtime comfort

Description:

She's not hungry, she's not wet, and yet she's still fussy?

Infants often squirm around looking for something to suck or cuddle as they try to relax for sleep. You can help the process along and make it easier for your baby to fall asleep.

Step by Step:
?Put a stuffed animal or a blanket into the crib with your baby.
?Take her hand and put it on the toy or blanket.
?Say, "Good night (baby's name), sweet dreams, (baby's name)" using a soft voice.
?Your baby will begin to recognize the comfort she feels when she has her special blanket or stuffed animal.
?Be sure you handle the stuffed animal or blanket before placing it in the crib. Your baby will detect your scent, this will give her a sense of familiarity and extra comfort.
