Make clouds drift overhead . . . indoors!
Description:
Even when there isn't a cloud in the sky, you may spot some on the ceiling! Create beautiful, cottony, fluffy clouds to bring the outdoors in. And while you?re cutting and gluing, take the opportunity to talk to children about what clouds are and what they do.
Step by Step:
- Layer two pieces of construction paper on top of each other.
- Draw outlines of cloud shapes.
- Cut out clouds, making sure to cut through both layers.
- Glue sides of identical clouds together, leaving about a 2-inch opening.
- Stuff with cotton balls to ?puff? clouds out.
- Glue opening closed.
- Make a hole in the top, thread through fishing line, and hang them from the ceiling.
Materials:
Light blue and white construction paper
Safety scissors
Cotton balls
Glue
Fishing line
