Description:
There are many opinions on when begin potty training your child. Most experts concur that two years of age is a good time to start, but every child is unique. To be successful, potty training must be approached with a relaxed attitude, patience, and perseverance. If you are expecting a new baby, planning to move, or very busy with work, wait until you are back into your normal routine to begin training.

Step by Step:
  1. Talk about using the potty with your child.
  2. Familiarize your child with the potty.
  3. Read books about the potty with your child.
  4. Watch videos about the potty with your child.
  5. Be sure to have a reward system. Praise usually works well.
  6. Be patient.
  7. Don't pressure your child.
  8. Have realistic expectations.
