Use treasures from the ocean for a variety of fun activities.
The seashore lures adults with classic images of rolling waves, blue skies, and gulls soaring overhead.

But for many kids, the best views can be found at ground level, while the sand is squishing between their little toes!

Step by Step:

1. Let your child sort the shells into groups such as, size, texture, and color.
   
2. Ask him or her to count the number of shells in each group.
   
3. Ask him to find the smallest and largest shell.
   
4. Take turns balancing the shells in each hand to see which is heaviest and which is lightest.
   
5. You can add other patterns and categorizing games if your child likes these kinds of activities.
