Create holiday traditions that your children can pass on to their own families.

Description:
The traditional Passover dinner is called a seder. During the meal, the story of Moses and the Jewish exodus from Egypt is retold through words and symbolic foods. Children are a big part of the seder ceremony, and when they get involved with the preparations they learn a lot about the meaning of the holiday.

Step by Step:
1.Melt margarine with brown sugar in saucepan; boil until mixture coats a spoon.
2.Line a cookie sheet with foil, lay matzoh on sheet and brush with brown sugar mixture. Bake for 3-4 minutes (watch closely, it burns easily), until the mixture starts to bubble.
3.Cover with chocolate chips and put back in the oven until the chips start to melt.
4.Spread the chocolate with a spatula to cover the matzoh. If you want, sprinkle crushed almonds over the top.
5.Let the chocolate-covered matzoh harden in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
6.While the chocolate is cooling, clean up the mess. (You can start by licking the pot!)
7.Break into pieces and serve. Makes 10 - 12 servings.

Materials:
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
5 to 6 pieces plain matzoh
12 oz. bittersweet chocolate bits (kosher for Passover)
1/4 cup crushed almonds or other nuts (optional)
