Create a sky filled with happy clouds together!
Description:
Mommy, why is the sky blue? Color recognition can be made into a fun-filled, creative activity. Here's how!!
Step by Step:
1. While outdoors together on a clear day (when "you can see forever"), both of you look up at sky. Say "How BLUE the sky is."
2. Reinforce the word BLUE by asking "What color did I say the sky is?" - If the response is blue - You can add "Blue - well good for you!!" Repetition is the best teacher.
3. Now for the indoor activity. Using a piece of blue construction paper - glue pieces of fluffy white (absorbent cotton) clouds here and there.
Materials:
Blue construction paper
Absorbent white cotton
Glue
