Butterflies are so interesting, especially when children make a special one in this simple art project! Using the ink blot model, these butterflies are easy to make and demonstrate symmetry.
Step by Step:
| 1. | Cut out butterfly shapes on white paper. | |
| 2. | Fold the paper in half so kids paint just one half of the butterfly. | |
| 3. | Show them how to press the 2 sides together so the design comes out the same on both wings of the butterfly. |
