Teddy bears are a familiar fixture in just about every child's life; they populate beds and bookshelves, star in many a children's book, and pop up in songs and poems as well. Inviting your child to a Teddy Bear Picnic is a fun way to spend some extra playtime with these cuddly friends. Don't forget to include "bear" hugs as part of the festivities!

Step by Step:
- Spread a blanket on the floor or outdoors and set out plates, cups, and napkins for you, your child, and each teddy bear guest.
- Read stories about teddy bears.
- Eat bear snacks: Using a bear-shaped cookie cutter, cut bread into bear shapes and make honey or raspberry or blackberry jam sandwiches. For bear milk, add a dash of cinnamon to a cup of milk and stir.
