Little ones are bombarded with new concepts as we try to introduce them to different aspects of their world. Concepts take on more meaning when babies can actually experience the essence of them. This fun activity lets babies feel the tactile sensation of 'sticky' firsthand.
Step by Step:
- Take off backing from contact paper.
- Tape it to the floor with the sticky side up.
- Encourage babies to touch it, crawl on it, step on it.
- Describe the paper, using the word 'sticky' as often as you can.
