Guessing and Acting Like An Insect Is Fun for Adults Too!

Description:

A fun way to interact with peers, while learning about science.

Step by Step:

1.	First, get the kids to sit in a semi-circle so they can all see you clearly and equally.
2.	Show pictures of the insects.
3.	Imitate each insect with arm movements, crawling, or flapping "your wings."
4.	Take one child aside and show him/her a picture of one of the insects to be acted out in front of the group.
5.	The other children then guess which insect is being portrayed.

Materials:
Pictures of 3 or 4 different types of insects.
