Dance and Stop to the Music
Dancing about and stopping on cue!

Description:

Whether it is the exhilaration a toddler feels when beating on a bevy of kitchen pots, or the way a familiar tune can soothe a crying infant, music is a powerful influence in every child's life.

In addition to the joy it brings, music is also important to a child's development. Music strengthens the ability to concentrate, increases coordination through movement, and encourages language development through exposure to new words and patterns.

Step-by-Step:
1. Turn on the CD player with some favorite tunes for your little one to dance to.
2. Tell your little dancer that whenever the music stops - dancing stops too!
3. Repeat by starting and stopping the music.
4. If she did it, follow with - "You did it perfectly. You dance so beautifully! I am so proud of you!"
