Kids love creating with paint. Whether they are applying it to paper with fingers, brushes, or sponges, they are sure to be proud of the result. Step-by-Step:

1. Set up art supplies (easel with paper, paint, a cup of water, paint brushes and sponges) in a contained area or outside.
2. Spread newspapers around the area.
3. Put a paint smock on your child.
4. Suggest what to paint if your child needs inspiration.
5. Try different techniques: use a toothbrush or sponge instead of a paintbrush, or splatter the paint instead of brushing.
6. Hang painting to dry.
