Jumping Over The River
It's easy to jump over a "river" - when it's pretend, that is!

Description:

Kids love to jump and they love to pretend. Combine the two, and you've got a great game for developing gross motor skills while having fun with friends. Play or sing the song "Over the River and Through the Woods" for added fun!

Step-by-Step:
    • Ask the children to jump up and down in place.
    • Place rope, tape or blue construction paper on the floor to be the pretend river.
    • Ask the kids to jump over the "river" one at a time.
    • If they are unable to jump, let them step over it.
Materials:
Rope, tape, or blue construction paper
