A Little Ball
Little children love fingerplays. Not only do fingerplays make a connection between the words of the song and their meaning? they are just plain fun! Repeat the fingerplays and actions several times. Each time you do, ask your child to join in. After a few repetitions, your child will be able to perform the motions all on his or her own.

Step-by-Step:
A little ball, (hands together like a ball)
A bigger ball, (hands curved into a bigger ball)
A great big ball, (arms curved to form a giant ball)
Now let's count the balls:
One, two, three. (reverse movements)

Materials:
just your hands
