Everyone in the family is going to love this Chocolate Butter Crunch Trifle dessert and your little one is going to beam with pride, if you let him be Chief Assistant Baker.

 

 

 


Step by Step:

  • Bake a Devils' Food cake as instructed on package, cool, and cut up in small chunks into large bowl.
  • Make sure your child gets to help add the ingredients and stir.
  • At medium speed, beat chocolate pudding and milk for 3 minutes.
  • Place uncovered in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  • Layer the ingredients into a clear large bowl or clear trifle bowl bringing each layer to side edges of bowl, as follows: 1/3 cake chunks, 1/3 pudding mix, 1/3 Cool Whip, cookie crumbs, mini butter crunch chips.
  • Repeat twice with remaining thirds.
  • Chill 2 hours or longer.

Materials:
Devil's Food Cake Mix
2 Pkgs. Instant Chocolate Pudding
3 cups 2% lite milk
2 large Lite Cool Whip
'Nilla chocolate wafers (Note: If unavailable use Nabisco Honey Maid chocolate grahams)
(Wafers have to be crumbed in amount as needed)
Mini butter crunch chips
baking pan
2 large mixing bowls
Assorted spatulas and spoons
Electric mixer
A clear large bowl or trifle bowl.
